Triton GLX-R & GSR

New to the range is the Triton GLX-R and GSR 4x4 Double Cabs. Both models feature the latest MiTEC safety features, Smartphone connectivity and interior comfort. GSR model is available with leather appointed heated front seats* and a sporty exterior showcasing black 18" alloy wheels, black grille and black roof.

*Leather appointed seats are a combination of genuine and artificial leather, but are not wholly leather. GSR model shown with genuine accessories available from March 2020

2.4 LITRE MIVEC TURBO DIESEL ENGINE
At the core of Triton sits this refined and super-responsive 2.4L DOHC MIVEC 16 valve common rail intercooled diesel engine. An aluminium cylinder block, and strong yet lightweight materials reduce weight, and with a compression ratio of 15.5:1, it’s among the quietest and most efficient diesel engines on the market contributing to better torque and speed power across the whole rev range. In fact, we know it will exceed your expectations. Peak power is 133kW at 3500rpm, while torque is an impressive 430Nm at 2500rpm across both manual and automatic transmission models. The lightweight engine achieves low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions across the range, while also delivering outstanding power and performance.

Performance & 4WD

With the option of full-time 4WD, High and Low range with centre diff lock and selectable 2WD, the Super Select II 4WD system on the Mitsubishi Triton GLS and GSR will give you more control in bad weather or on difficult surfaces.

• 2H (2WD High Range) is best used for normal road conditions and for fuel efficiency.
• 4H (Full Time 4WD) is ideal for rough roads and hazardous conditions.
• 4HLC (4WD High Range with locked centre differential) is used when driving on rugged terrain with low-grip surfaces.
• 4LLC (4WD Low range with locked centre differential) provides maximum traction for steep hills, sand and deep snow.

Couple this with impressive power and torque and you can be confident that Triton will move whatever you need to with ease.

Robust Design and Handling

Built tough to handle whatever challenges come your way the Mitsubishi Triton is built for maximum stability and traction. Its legendary ladder chassis contributes to solid handling and its body is aerodynamically designed for stable highway performance. Its rugged suspension features double wishbones with coil springs and a stabiliser bar in front, plus no-nonsense above-the-axle leaf springs in the rear for outstanding traction.

Spacious Cabin

Mitsubishi Triton Double Cabs offer a spacious cabin with generous rear seat legroom and a reclined seatback angle providing plenty of leg, shoulder and head room in the front and back, to easily carry five adults.  With convenient features like Smartphone tray and USB charging ports in the centre console for front seat and rear seat passengers (GLS and GSR models).

The GLX, GLX ADAS Club Cab-Cab Chassis and GLX+ Club Cab – Pick Up 4x4 models have all the features you’d expect in a hard-working truck, with extra room to carry gear in the cabin or rear seats for the occasional passenger. Exterior features included clamshell style doors and platform style side steps (GLX+) for easy access.

The Mitsubishi Triton GLX+ Club Cab-Pick Up model provides ample load capacity with 1850mm in length, 1470mm in width and 475mm in depth. Featuring inner hooks and a rear gate with an easy to use single handle, the extra reinforcement in the construction of the spacious cargo bed makes it even more durable. In the cargo bed, the rear corners are specially reinforced to disperse the force of impact when your cargo shifts and prevent damage.

Easy Select 4WD on GLX, GLX ADAS and GLX+ models offers 2WD and 4WD High and Low Range. Both systems have an easy-to-operate four-wheel-drive selector dial that allows the driver to switch between 2WD and 4WD on the move at speeds under 100km/h
